HISTORIC LIFEBOAT TRIPS

aboard ex-RNLI lifeboat The Hampshire Rose

The Rother class The Hampshire Rose served as Walmer RNLI Lifeboat Station's all-weather lifeboat from 1975 - 1990, and was the last all-weather lifeboat to be stationed there. She served two more years as part of the RNLI relief fleet, before being sold into private ownership. Several owners later, she is in Ilfracombe, North Devon, as a private charter vessel, available for sightseeing trips and private charters alike.

Please be aware that The Hampshire Rose Lifeboat is now privately owned and is no longer a part of the RNLI fleet.
